Hi everyone! Sorry for not posting a ton for the past four days. Or five. Or six. Or just three.
Sparkle and I have been really busy... I just took two quiz-test-things today! Agh! Rage.
Good news, we're going trick-or-treating together! I think Sparkle is going to be some kind of animal. Wouldn't it be hilarious if she was an enderman?!
I'm being a panda, like last year. Did I say that before? I think I commented it on Sparkle's post, but otherwise, I'm not super sure.
Next year, I wanna be the Pokemon called Skitty! It's one of my favorites. (I think of Skitty as a she, but in Pokemon, really, who knows for sure?)
Or maybe that ninja-like panda Pokemon with a leaf sticking from its mouth. Pandacham?
I call it Pandacham, at least. :P

Minecraft Review : 02 : "Voiding" Death

Hi everyone! Squeal! I'm here with two awesome surprise-ish thingies!
Firstly... BRIDGES! This is the Bridges gameplay review post, yes!
And... like I said... Boo Berry is joining us!
Boo Berry: Boo-hi!
So sweet and cute and... Squee!
Anyways. Sparkle and I had played two rounds. Why?
Because we got killed in the first, like, three minutes of sword-fighting PvP Time.
Boo Berry: They made a big boo-boo by waiting for a boo-good time for their iron!
That's really true! I took too long to smelt my iron.
And I think Sparkle was crafting her armor and all that, up by the surface.
Okay. Let's start from the beginning with those pictures!
By the way, I had less pics this time. Because I am NOT a girl who likes to pause in the middle of PvP, take a sweet selfie-screenshot, and then crop it all... In ONE MINUTE. Nope.
I took pics of the cave, water, mining... Not the PvP though. Sorry! But I really don't think I would survive that, you know... taking a good time to crop out a screenshot... No.
Boo Berry: I'm boo-tired. I'm going to turn out the lamp light and boo to sleep. I need to refill my energy boo bar. Good nap-time!

Alrighty. On with the pictures, shall we?

We like the Skylands map the best, so we decided to play on that one. (By the way, I was using Good Morning Craft, with Optifine, for the Bridges games.)
And, lucky us, we got the sandy biome. I like the jungle-tree one the best (awesome tree bases!), but who cares... they all have mines, iron, so I'm okay with any.
Okay. You don't get harmed by water on Skylands. In Icelands and Volcanic Islands, though, water is basically an unfortunate obstacle to the middle, and other islands.

Here's something I do during pretty much any game of Skylands: I like to branch off the water so it flows off the edge of your island. Why? Maybe you can save yourself if you do a little void-slip. I don't really use it, but I just like to let it flow off.

The Mid on this map is a little floating island in, well, the MIDDLE of the whole map.
At ten minutes in, the bridges drop down and start branching slowly to the middle. I've gotten there a few times, but I don't think I'm usually too successful at getting good upgrades from the chests there.

The picture above is what the teammates-and-time rectangle could look like at the beginning of sword-PvP-enabled time. It'll say something like Time Left: 1.3 Hours or something.

And this is a busy lobby for Bridges. Of course. LOL!

And on Skylands, there are usually beds inside the little pre-made buildings on each island. Sparkle took one down into the cave. In the above picture, Sparkle attempts to sleep. Nope!

I had been using Miner Kit during the Bridges game. I right-clicked with an iron pickaxe, and voila! Masterpiece of iron is found! (And by that, I mean it's usually, like, four pieces.)

Above: Ta-da! Sparkle and I are finally geared! I think I was equipped with iron everything (except for my leather helmet) and an iron sword. Sparkle had a set of iron, but I don't think she had any leggings, and she also got a diamond sword!
I played another game, on my own, and... I got enough diamonds to make a diamond pickaxe, diamond sword, diamond leggings, AND a diamond chestplate!

Unfortunately, someone smacked me down and looted out my diamond things... It was a good game, either way, and I loved it!
Yeah. Sorry this review wasn't as long as it could've been. I didn't even need two separate parts to fit this review!
Well, time to rate Bridges. I rate it a 9.8 / 10! Why? Well, it's an AWESOME game, but I don't like how some islands have tons and tons of trees, and others (like the desert one) have a much smaller supply. Then again, you don't need that much wood... Psh.

Um... Whatever.
So Sparkle was playing My Boo (the review is coming out pretty soon) and she discovered that something had glitched... She now only had a Level-One boo! OMG! She had to start over, from what she told me, and even sent a picture to prove it. I feel so sad for her... In case you didn't know, Sparkle had a role-model, super cute boo, her name was Sky High, who was almost level 35!!! I'm only level 22, I think, but still! If I lost my little boo, named Boo Berry... Grr!
I've moved quite a lot before, so I know how to handle this kind of I-lost-this feeling. But Sparkle's been in the same neighborhood since... Well... A long time! Nine years? Eight years? I'm not sure, but... Wow... She just doesn't know how to manage this kind of stressing-out-sadness feeling.
I haven't mastered it... But... I know a ton more than Sparkle does.
And, considering I've moved around (including vacations) about 4-11 times... Yeah...
Um, right. I'm not bawling and exploding into tears right now, but Sparkle said SHE was.
So... Yeahhhhh... Don't expect a super-cheery post from her anytime soon. Unless this weird glitch thing is fixed.
Um, the second bad news isn't that bad, really. Well, I'll have to post the Bridges game post tomorrow... Or something. Hopefully this week! MOST LIKELY this week.
Oh. And other news. I will be accompanied by my boo, Boo Berry, for a few posts. I just thought it would be a cute idea...

Popcorn chicken. Sparkle's costume skin is still top-secret... Even I don't know what she's gonna decorate her skin as! Maybe an Enderman? Creeper? Zombie? Witch?
Ender Dragon or Ghast? Yeah... no.
Alrighty. Just wanted to post that I've gotten some recent lag bumps... no worries, they're small little lag spikes... so the Bridges game might be delayed. Or the pictures might be a little flashy or funky-looking. Just throwing that out there!
And, yes, Sparkle will most likely be there--hopefully she'll be dressed up, too.
Anyways, as you can tell by scrolling down to the very bottom of the blog pages, the poll is going to end in about two weeks! Yep, I'm pretty sure that it's ending at around 5:30 P.M. on Halloween.
Ooh, and I added a little ABOUT THE POLL section! It's right above the actual poll.

And I decided to take COSTUMES to a whole block-shock new level!... Key word being the BLOCK in block-shock!
That's right! If you guessed MINECRAFT COSTUMES... then you are SO right!
I decided to bring up my creativity into a cute MC costume skin! Ready? Okie!

Anyways.
So, yeah! I think Sparkle wanted to do this clever little costume-skin idea, too, but she doesn't know how to make her skin.
(Nope, I'm NOT giving any costume spoilers! Well... maybe. She said she wanted it to be a hostile mob as well!)
So, yeah! Pshhh.

 Well... it's not exactly Halloween yet... but there's only about two weeks until Halloween rounds the corner! And then it'll be off to November--the month where I forgot if Thanksgiving is in it or if that's December. Umm...

Hi! Sorry I have not been posting lately, but, I got no idea what to post about. And then, I turned on my brain and started to type this post. Well, this post is about one of my favorite games on Mineplex, BRIDGES!!!!!

Now, in this game, You get 10 minutes to build, mine, craft, do whatevz! but you can't go across the water or void, it will kill you. So, when the 10 minutes are up, the bridges start to form, and you can go to the middle. In the middle, there are chests with awesome stuff in them such as bows, food, armor, and weapons. Also, PVP is enabled, but not for your own team, Like, should you kill your team? I think not. Otherwise, ready, set, FIGHT!!!!!

While you are waiting to play in the lobby there are some kits to explore and enjoy.

The Apple kit starts you off with 1 apple and then it grows, and grows, even past a stack. and here comes the best part, you can fire them like snowballs, but with more power. 

The beserker kit starts you off with an stone axe,Which is useful for cutting down trees faster. You also do more damage with an axe.

The brawler kit gives you an iron sword and you take 50% knockback and you deal 150% knockback. You also take 1.0 less damage from attacks.

The archer kit gives you a bow, and 3 arrows. when you pull it back all the way, it fires out a bunch of arrows. Sniper!

The miner kit is, by far, my favorite kit. (hence my name, SparkleMiner) you start off with a stone pickaxe, and you can detect ores, based on what type of pickaxe you have. if you have stone, you can detact coal, iron pickaxe, detects iron, and so on and so on.

The bomber kit gives you TNT to explode stuff with. You get 1 every 30 seconds, max of 2. BOOM!!!!!

So that is pretty much it! I hope you enjoyed this post, and I will try to post more often, I promise.

Computer Games : 01 : Do You Like Anime Summer?

Hi there, sugar fluffy plum cakes!
This is my first computer-game review--not including Minecraft!
It's a nice, sweet, girly summer dress-up game. Not too confusing, but not so boring that you'll wake up next to a puddle of drool on your keyboard.
It's called Anime Summer Girls!
You can pick from four girls at the beginning.

I'm gonna... uh... dress up the girl on the far right.
And guess who I'll be making?
Sparkleminer's MineCraft character!
SparkleTwinkle!
Okay. So at the beginning, it's a page with gray-and-white girls.
You click on wherever you want. Then you will be taken to a page with, um... What's it called... Those funky life-floaty-hoop things with the four girls' faces in them. Press whichever hoop that has the girl you'd like to... um... fancify!

As I said before, I'm fancifying the girl on the very right.
First up--the main face / body feautures...
Such as skin tone, mouth shape, eye shape and color, eyebrow expression... and so on!

 Next... the fabutastic hairstyles and hair colors!
Hair is almost always my favorite part of dress-up!

 

Getting better! Okay... the third option is the clothing! Yay!

Dress-up isn't dress-up without any adorable outfits to pick from!

Lastly, there are little accessories to pick from!
They hardly change much of the entire wear, but they are so mini and cute!

And... done! See, simple!
And it really DOES look like Sparkle!
(Except... Sparkle has long-sleeves. Not a tank top. Or bracelets. Or a headband.)
Psh. Anyways! If you love anime and girly thingies, then... SQUEE!
This game is THE perfect game for you!
I rate this dress-up game... hmm... a good 9.6 / 10!

I didn't rate it a whole 10 / 10 because I feel like there should be more accessories to choose from, like maybe a belt. But then again, this is Anime SUMMER Girls. Do you really see THAT many people wearing belts around their swimsuits at the beach?

Mobile Apps : 01 : High School Story!

Hey there, marshmallow-sized sweetdrop cookie hats!
Waaaaaaaahh...ttttt... Never mind that. Hehe.
Using the title of this post as MILD HELP, what is this review about?
Da-da-da-da!
This post is revising... you know, the time I was enjoying that nice green frosted doughnut and then I realized that I was almost gonna be late for school HIGH SCHOOL STORY!
Yes! Finally, Sparkle and I found a way to convert mobile-device screenshots onto the computer! Well, I found out how to, but... who cares! She gets credit, too!

Yup! High School Story!
It's a fun game, but I don't suggest it being your hourly point of fun. Unless you're new at HSS. Then the quests are quicker, so you should probably keep your eye on that app until you're around level 5 or 6, where the quests will probably lengthen to 2-3 hours instead of, like, 15-45 minutes.
So, onto the basics!

The above picture is a picture of a school with a good amount of students. MY school.
There are nine main characters (as you continue and start leveling up, you will unlock more characters that must be earned through quests). These characters are: Payton, Autumn, Nishan, Mia, Julian, Ezra, Wes, Sakura, and yourself.
Most quests will involve these characters, but there are side quests where you pick from three of your own classmates. Different types of classmates, such as mascots, gamers, class clowns, wallflowers, and many more, will have different quests to them. Maybe it could be a back-story or their personal issues. These quests are especially fun to page through!
Okay! Let's review the hangout areas!
First up, in the order that they are provided when you first start the game...
The jocks!

This is a leveled-up version of the Jock Hangout (I think all my hangouts are upgraded to the highest version possible. Oops!). Leveled up, you can keep five jock-personality classmates in there. (I think it's five. Maybe it's four.)

You can only get a certain amount of hangouts per level. Doesn't matter what hangout. For level 16, you can only have 16 hangouts. You could have 6 jock hangouts, 3 nerd hangouts, 4 prep hangouts, 2 artist hangouts, and 1 slacker hangout, but whatever way you decide to split the five hangouts, you can only have 16 in total.

Julian is a jock from the main-character list. He is bold, strong, and has a nice soft side to all that bulky manliness. And I'm pretty sure he has feelings for Autumn.

This is the Nerd Hangout. Though NERD is a slightly offensive term. I would have called it... you know what, I really don't know!

I'm more of a nerd than a prep, to be honest, but since I'm girly (and the nerd girls look less girly than the prep girls), I picked the prep option. Not much of a social butterfly, but still. I don't often wear plaid on lined socks with a color-coordinated skirt, either.

This is also a leveled-up hangout. Sorry, again. But this one can hold FOUR nerd-personality classmates, not five.

Nishan is one of the nerds in the main-character booklet. He likes sci-fi, facts, and has a crush on Sakura the gamer-girl.

I like the style of the Prep Hangout. Looks like a nice campus cafe with room to sleep on the top floor. I would SO live in that (if I had to pick from all the hangouts).

Preps are (supposedly) social butterflies. 

Anyways, this ALSO-leveled-up hangout can hold five prep-personality classmates. You saw that coming, right?

One of the early classmates that you'll meet is Payton. She is the main prep in the main-character scroll of official-... ness. She is bouncy and loves throwing parties and all that.

She's a prep. What did you expect, a mountain-climbing expedition that takes five weeks to get to the top of a cliff that is supposedly packed with gold?

No. Hehe. Preps are normal. Mostly.

Mia is a cheerleader (cross of prep / jock). Sakura is a criss-cross of nerd / jock (she's a gamer). And both of them are incredulously feisty. For classmates that have criss-cross personalities, you can put them in either one of the hangouts they belong to.

Moving on. The Artist Hangout can only hold four artist-personality classmates, like the nerd hangout-place. It's, um, made of glass. Any privacy?
I don't think so. Like... WHY.
Autumn is the artist of the main-character-ness. She is a gentle character.
I like her the most.
Apart from my own character.
Continuing on.

The Music Hangout (is that what it's called?) can hold up to five music-personality classmates.
I'm tired of typing this enormously long post.
No wonder I shortened the Mineplex review!

Bleh. Musician. Um. Ezra is the main character of music-ness.

He's got a nice side to his usual braggy, stand-alone self.

The Slacker Hangout (I think. Is it called that? What?) holds up to four classmates.

Wes is a slacker. Slinking around for clues. Hiding off in the shadows to listen in on conversations. Makes good gossip, doesn't it?

He is a huge help to the group.

He helped when the, uh, other rival school (forgot the name. Oops. Sorry.) tried to trick my school, beat us in games, and so on.

Okay! Last part of this!

There is a partying area, courtesy of Payton, where you can have unnaturally long parties and meet new classmates. You can play matchmaker in the Tunnel of Love. And the YOUR VOICE addition lets you take polls and share. And on the front loading page, you get tips on HSS.

XD Yeah. By the way, guys, two reviews on one app is ENOUGH for us. We're most likely NOT doing three reviews of ONE APPbecause, to be honest and logical, that just gets annoying. And reviews take up, like half the page for me. What.

Hi! So sorry this post is so late but yea, stuff happened. Anyway, on to the review of the minecraft server, (drum roll please), MINEPLEX!

So, mineplex is a minecraft server that has tons of fun mini games, such as, Block hunt, survival games, bridges, and much more!

The compass can show you the lobby menu for games such as survival games and block hunt. But not the arcade games.

The clock can show you the lobbies for the entire server. this will help you see your friends on miecraft.

The chest helps you get your accessories, mounts, and, particle effects, out and open treasure chests.

The rule book tells you what you cannot do. You better not make trouble!

The piece of sort of important paper can tell you your stats on all the games.

The redstone repeater is where you can turn on and off all sorts of things.

Hi guys! How was your day?
Good? Bad? Okay? Not-so-okay?
I'm okay. I mean, sorta. Mostly.
You can't spend too much time worrying. Otherwise there's no perks to the world.
Anyways. Sparkle, being the lazy pooper that she is slightly slower at posting than me, has yet to update her version of the game. She couldn't get screenshots though. Sorry!
But she has more emotion popped into her post. I pre-read it. When it wasn't done. Oops.
How could she NOT have so much emotion dragged into her post? She was close to rage-quitting. Spawn-killing hiders are her least favorite thing in Block Hunt.
I'm not such a fan, either, but sometimes I do it. Hehe!
Anyways, I want to ask something. It'll be in my sign-off.
So go riddle yourself to that.

Minecraft Review : 01 : Mineplex & Mini-Games! [2]

Hey there, fuzzy chipmunk bubble faeries!
What.
Anyways. Sparkle and I played a few rounds of Block Hunt! (She wanted to rage-quit. Spawn-killing hiders are not her fave.)

Okay. First, we were both hiders!

I bought the Instant Hider just to try it out, but I think Swapper Hider is more helpful if you want to do the hide-and-run method. I do.
So I rushed and hid somewhere classic, thanks to Sparkle!

If you look closely, you can see a bit of my faded character outline. And, of course, my floating wooden axe. Completely normal.
I was a melon in the melon-wheat farm. Super classic spot!
I got worried and hid in a roof-attic spot later on. Thanks again, Sparkle!

Anyways, it was a pretty close game. But at the end, Hiders won!
Including me and Sparkle!

Yay!
Okay, Round Two.
Sparkle was a hunter (or a seeker, as I call it). I, on instinct, ran to pick the Hiders kit.
Uh-oh!
Trouble between blog partners and BFF's!

In the above picture, I'm shooting Sparkle! Heh! Can't get me!!!
Well. She got me later, but... whatever! Okay, Round Two results: Hiders won. Congrats!

Round Three. Start!
Around the middle of the third game, I got a Diamond Axe! Yay me! You get higher-damage axes when you shoot more seekers with the bow (duh).
Yay! Hee-hee!

Two things. First of all, I got the final smack on a hider (with my Diamond Axe, also known as the Hyper Axe!). And second, as you can see, somebody was cheating. DON'T DO THAT. IT'S BAD. And they got kicked from the game. Punishments will be given out, you know.

Oh. How did that happen?
Recap. Sparkle found me hiding as a cauldron on a wooden boat-dock-thing (so very normal, yeah, totally, so normal, it's not at all weird...) and hit me into the water. Hiders get water damage, so... You can kinda get what happened.

And the hiders won. Again. While Sparkle was trying to get to me, other hiders were shooting her from rooftops. She got so annoyed. Almost rage-quit. It was good that she didn't!
Anyways. I wanna rate this Mineplex mini-game... um... 9.4 / 10! Why?
Well, I feel like hiders should be able to leap instead of getting a speed boost.
But that's just my opinion. Either way, this game is awesome!
